No pop quizzes.
Just better posts.
This is the room where social media starts making sense.
SOCIALSTUDIES
A weekly live social media coaching classroom for people who want social media to become a skill — not a mystery.
Join me every Friday from 10–11 AM AST, September through February, for platform updates, strategy lessons, content coaching, community discussion, resources, and live Q&A — designed to help you stop guessing and start showing up with more confidence.
You don't need another tip saved to your camera roll.
You need a place to actually learn how social media works, ask your questions, get feedback, and build the muscle with support — not screenshots and good luck.
You haven't started posting yet — and the longer you wait, the louder the static gets.
You started, but consistency keeps slipping through the cracks.
You're posting, but the content isn't landing the way you hoped.
Social media is technically part of your job, but nobody really taught you how to do it well.
You want to understand strategy, content, platform behaviour, and audience connection instead of collecting tips you never use.
If any of that sounds like you — pull up a chair.
What is Social Studies?
Social Studies is a weekly live coaching classroom for people who are responsible for building, managing, or improving a social media presence.
Each class combines current platform updates, a loose lesson plan, live discussion, content strategy support, resources, and Q&A/hot seat coaching.
The Fall/Winter cohort runs every Friday, 10–11 AM AST, from September through February. Because social media changes weekly, every class is current — and every class builds the skill.
What happens in class.
Same standing time every Friday, 10–11 AM AST. Same room. New lesson, new conversation, new questions — September through February.
Social Media News + Platform Updates
We open class with what's actually happening across platforms — algorithm shifts, new features, tests, expert observations, and what classmates should know before they create content this week.
The Loose Lesson Plan
I come prepared with a lesson, but the room stays flexible. Topics include content planning, brand presence, pillars, showing up on camera, becoming the main character of your business, living a content lifestyle, and how not to post and ghost.
Class Discussion
Classmates raise their hands, ask questions, share what's working, and learn from each other's industries. The group dynamic is half the value of the room.
Q&A + Hot Seat Coaching
Bring your content problems, account questions, strategy puzzles, or that thing you've been Googling alone. We work through it together — out loud, in real time.

What classmates are saying.

Real feedback from the Social Studies pilot cohort.
The format works. We tested it.
In May, I tested Social Studies with a small cohort of industry pals, entrepreneurs, a realtor, and someone working in the queer art and drag space.
For five Fridays, the group gathered live to test the weekly class format — platform updates, lesson plans, Q&A, hot seat coaching, content assignments, and community-based learning.
The result? The format worked. The conversations were useful. The feedback was strong. And the classmates started showing up for each other online, too.
You're not buying a course. You're joining the room.
Members also get access to a group community space where classmates can ask questions, share wins, access resources, support each other, and keep the conversation going between Friday classes.
Ready to take your seat?
If social media is part of your work, your business, your brand, or the next version of where you're going — Social Studies is where you come to study it properly.
Frequently asked questions.
Do I need to be advanced at social media to join?
+
Not at all. Social Studies is built for people who want to actually understand how social media works — wherever you're starting. Beginners and seasoned posters both get value.
What if I can't attend every Friday live?
+
Life happens. Show up when you can. Because the learning is non-linear, missing a week doesn't put you behind — the next class will still be relevant, useful, and current.
Is this a course?
+
Nope. Social Studies is a live weekly coaching classroom. There's no fixed curriculum to grind through. It's lesson, discussion, Q&A, and real-time coaching — week after week.
When does the Fall/Winter cohort run?
+
Every Friday from 10–11 AM AST, September through February. The format stays non-linear because social media changes weekly, so every class is current and useful.
Can my business or agency purchase a seat for an employee?
+
Absolutely. A Social Studies seat works beautifully as part of onboarding, mentorship, or ongoing professional development for a junior social media coordinator.
What happens after I apply?
+
I review every application personally to make sure Social Studies is the right room for you, then send next steps — including your calendar invite and access to the community space.
Is there homework?
+
Sometimes there are optional assignments or worksheets if the class is working through something specific. Nothing overwhelming. No pop quizzes. Just better posts.
