πŸ‘‹ Hi, I'm Jared

You already have a good brand
you just haven't seen it yet πŸŒ€

Almost every person I work with says the same sentence out loud: "Jared, I don't feel like I'm good at social."

You're a good person, with good intentions, doing a good thing. That's the hard part β€” and you've already done it. The rest is just knowing what to say, how to say it, and how often. That part is my job.

I'm Jared Goodman, founder of He's Good @ Social, based in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. I've spent 10+ years in social media β€” strategy, content creation, coaching and training β€” for brands across New Brunswick and Atlantic Canada.

    πŸ“Ό The receipts

    Some people learned social.
    I was built for it.

Not a personality quiz β€” a pattern. Long before this was an industry, I was already doing the work for free, for fun, and at a volume that got me made fun of. Here's the short version.

    2007

A typewriter, a digital camera, and Picnik

I was the kid making up stories on a typewriter, then running around with a digital camera and editing the photos on Picnik for my Piczo site. Nobody asked me to. That's the tell.

    The Neopets years

Learning audience before it had a name

Guilds, shops, pages, banners. My first lesson in building something people actually wanted to show up for β€” and keep showing up for.

    Middle + high school

    Bullied for posting too much

Facebook and Instagram, constantly. It got me made fun of. It also made me fluent in a language most adults hadn't learned yet.

    The Boathouse

"Give it to Jared β€” he's the social media kid"

My retail job ran a social media competition and I was the automatic pick. That was the moment I realized this could be a job. Then I went and studied marketing so I could do it properly.

    🏒 The corporate decade

I learned this craft in big rooms
    with big budgets.

Marketing school, then a decade of in-house and corporate social roles β€” bigger audiences, bigger budgets, bigger consequences when something missed. That's where I stopped guessing and started building systems: strategy, content, community, reporting, repeat.

It's also where I confirmed something I'd known since the typewriter: I'm a creative, and rigid structures and I don't co-exist peacefully. Three corporate social jobs later β€” some I left, some left me β€” I had enough.

You get the training without the bureaucracy. That's the whole trade.

    πŸ—“οΈ July 2025

    The universe kept pointing.
    I finally jumped

For years the signs were obvious and I was too scared to believe in myself. In July 2025 I stopped waiting and built the thing I'd been quietly training for since I was a kid with a camera. HE'S GOOD @ SOCIAL is the dream job I made up for myself β€” and the reason I get to be fully in your corner instead of split across a boardroom.

    ✨ The philosophy

    Good brands deserve better social.

You're already good. You built something real, you care about the people it serves, and you'd never cut a corner on the actual work. Social is just the part nobody taught you.

So my job isn't to make you someone else online. It's to find the one-of-a-kind thing that only you do, make it obvious, and package it so the algorithm rewards it instead of burying it.

You bring the original. I bring the strategy that makes people see it.

    🎯 Why me

    Why I'm the right person
    to fix your socials

    01

    A decade in big rooms

Corporate social roles with real audiences, real budgets, and real stakes. I know what a strategy has to survive: approvals, reporting, brand guidelines, a bad week.

    02

    Strategy AND the actual craft

I write it, shoot it, edit it, post it, and read the numbers after. You're not getting a deck from someone who's never had to make the thing.

    03

    I speak human, not agency

No jargon walls, no mystery process. You'll always understand what we're doing and why it works.

    04

    I'm looking for your original

The one-of-a-kind thing you do that you've stopped noticing. My job is to find it, name it, and make the algorithm like it too.

    Your turn

You're good at what you do.
Let's get you good @ social

Tell me what you're building and what feels stuck. I'll tell you exactly what I'd do about it β€” no jargon, no mystery, no fifteen-slide warm-up.
